Get an ACCURATE estimate based on YOUR needs. Not just some random person's spelling and storytelling ability. Not too little, not too much - just right! I do a 2 hour pre-paid test edit from which I then extrapolate the price for the entire manuscript. That way I get an idea of your 'voice" and style, as well as the level of editing needed. My editing rates are $40/hour. 50% deposit to start work.
